Energy Ribbon

For Con Edison’s 2019 campaign, we wanted to give them something visually ownable. So we developed the Energy Ribbon, which is an electrified, glassy version of their logo – if their logo were stretched across New York City.

You Have The Power

We let a 90’s classic motivate our ribbon to weave throughout the city, highlighting the changes Con Edison is making to enable a more energy efficient future

 

Photography

We wanted room for the ribbon to soar while showing its seamless incorporation into daily life. With it, we highlight the various programs and technologies Con Edison supports, leading the eye to whatever we needed the copy to describe.

Subway takeover

I was oddly proud of these, since MTA ad buys do not include placement choice. I designed the long, skinny ads at the top to have the ribbon enter and exit from the same place on each ad so they’d be continuous.

This was October of 2019, so the mask guy is a little spooky, considering…
